With over 32 years of healthcare experience, Kristi is committed to being a patient advocate and has a great passion for working with the geriatric population. Kristi’s background as a Registered Nurse and an Executive Director has given her valuable experience. She has worked many years in hospitals and assisted living. Her passion for helping others shines as well as her work ethic. Kristi feels the elderly should be valued and respected as they are our golden resource. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys gardening, antiquing, concerts and is a Cub Fan. She enjoys time with her three grown children and her three adored grandsons.

Dominique Calvert is the Business Office Manager at The Oasis of Plainfield, where she keeps daily operations running smoothly and ensures a warm, organized environment for residents, families, and staff. Known for her strong problem‑solving skills and heart for service, she plays a key role in supporting the community and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Outside of work, Dominique enjoys staying active, playing sports, and spending quality time with her two young children, as well as with family and friends. Her commitment to both her work and her loved ones shines through in everything she does.

Debbie Horn brings a unique background shaped by her early career on the trading floors of the New York Stock Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. After transitioning from commodities trading, she discovered a passion for senior enrichment and has spent more than 15 years creating meaningful, engaging programs in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Known for her creative, culturally inspired activities, Debbie focuses on enhancing residents’ quality of life through music, education, and connection. A Morton College and Nazareth Academy alum, she also loves animals—especially dogs, cats, and the horse she once owned.

Al Greubel, the Maintenance Director at The Oasis of Plainfield, has nearly 40 years of experience in maintenance, including repair, painting, and mechanical work, with the last 12 years dedicated to senior living. He has been part of the community since its beginning and takes pride in ensuring our building is well-maintained and safe for residents and staff. Al lives in Plainfield with his wife of over 30 years, Kathy. He enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories. Al also enjoys golf and music, having been a musician in the past.

Frederica Johnson brings more than 20 years of experience in the food service industry, having worked with several of Chicago’s leading organizations, including Compass, Touch Point, Aramark, Renwick, UIC of Illinois, Ingalls Hospital, St. Franciscan Hospital, and Governors State University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business. Her background spans management, training, food safety, coaching, and off‑site catering, all contributing to her strong foundation in culinary operations and service excellence. Now serving as Culinary Director for The Oasis of Plainfield, Frederica is passionate about creating excellent dining experiences and building meaningful relationships with residents, vendors, and her team. Outside of work, she enjoys catering, spending time with her husband Lamar, and sharing food, fun, and sports with family and friends.
